Robinhood Chain

How a launch works, start to finish

Every step below happens on chain, and every one is something you can check yourself. Where a claim cannot be verified, it is not made.

New Robinhood Chain launches reopen with the upgraded contracts. Coins already launched keep trading.

Bonding curve — no liquidity of your own

A small fee to start and nothing else. Priced in ETH, a stock or a token from the chain. The pool locks itself at the end.

  1. 1

    Name it and launch

No liquidity of your own and no presale: the curve opens against a virtual reserve. One transaction and it is live. In that same transaction you can make an opening buy of your own coin — optional, priced on the curve, and capped (2% of the curve today, tighter than the 5% any other buyer may take).

Verify: An opening buy appears on chain as a normal curve trade, with the fee paid.

  2. 2

    The curve sets the price

Price rises as people buy and falls as they sell — arithmetic on the contract, not a number anyone types in. There is no premine: whatever the creator holds, they bought on this curve at this price.

Verify: Progress toward graduation is shown as ETH (or the stock) raised, not tokens sold.

  3. 3

    Hold bonus

Buys in the first seconds after launch pay a tax that goes into the coin's own pot, not to us. At graduation the pot is split among the wallets that still hold what they bought. Snipers pay the people who stay.

Verify: The pot and your share are shown on the coin's page and readable on chain.

  4. 4

    Graduation

When the curve fills, the collected ETH becomes a Uniswap pool and the liquidity position is locked in a contract that cannot give it back. Nobody can pull that liquidity, including us. Its trading fees keep paying the creator and the weekly jackpot.

Verify: The lock is on chain and permanent.

Direct launch — your rules

For a token that needs a buy tax, wallet limits, or liquidity you control.

  1. 1

    Deploy the token

One transaction, and the address is known before you sign it. Your name, supply, buy tax, wallet limits and anti-bot window.

Verify: The address in your wallet is the address on the explorer.

  2. 2

    Seed liquidity

You choose how much ETH and how many tokens open the pool. Trading stays off until you switch it on, so nobody can front-run your own launch.

Verify: The pool reserves are readable by anyone, including you.

  3. 3

Keep the position, or burn it

The pool is a Uniswap position in your wallet: keep it and earn its fees, or burn it so nobody — you included — can ever pull the liquidity. Buyers see which you chose.

Verify: The position's owner is on chain.

  4. 4

    Enable trading

From that moment the token is tradeable by anyone on Uniswap.

Fees — fixed in the contracts

Curve trades
0.8% per trade. A constant in the contract — it cannot be changed, by anyone.
Graduated pools
1% Uniswap pool fee, collected by the locked position.
Stock swaps
0.5% on the output.
Your tokens
Nothing. We never take a percentage of supply.

85% of a coin's fees go to whoever launched it, for as long as it trades. Of the rest, 7% goes to the weekly jackpot and 8% to ForgePad. A fee with nobody behind it, like a stock swap, has no creator to pay: 92% goes to the jackpot and 8% to ForgePad. Every one of those numbers is a constant in the upgraded contracts with no setting behind it: they cannot go up or down.
